My 1997 expedition w/4.6l triton has coolant in the #1 spark plug recess around the boot and spark plug. This diagnoses as a missfire on the #1 plug. I am told this can cause the plug to short out and possibly burn the #1 cyl. coil out. There are no coolant hoses near the #1 cyl. to lead fluid into this area.

Optional Information:
1997 Ford expedition 4.6 triton

Already Tried:
blew out #1 spark plug hole before removing plug. Then reinstalled and it ran good now it misses again and no fluid in plug recess I think the coil is damaged from the first time.
