We have a 04 ford f-350. Starting a month ago we would start the truck in the morning to warm it up and when it came time to leave it would just die. We would then have to jump it with cables to get it going again. That worked at first, as time went on we would have to jump it several times in the morning to keep it running. But once u were out on the road driving it u would have no problems. The other night we were driving home and it just died, the lights went dim and we had to pull off the road. We once again got it jumped and it started, but not enough "juice" to keep it going. What do u think the problem could be?

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy). Thank you for asking your question on Just Answer.

Have you had the charging system inspected? Sounds like the truck is running off the batteries. When the vehicle is running at the time of the problem measure battery voltage. If it is the same as battery voltage with the engine off then you have an alternator or wiring problem.

Thank you again for trusting us with your problem.
