Hello and welcome to justanswer.com

Here's the procedure to replace the electronic throttle body on your truck.

Hopefully this answers your question and you accept. Positive feedback is appreciated and please let me know if I can assist you with anything else.

  • The electronic throttle body is serviced as a complete assembly. Individual components cannot be serviced.
  • Throttle body bore and plate area have a special coating and cannot be cleaned, or possible damage to the throttle body may occur.
  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
  2. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the illustration and table.

Ok, I understand removing the parts in order; do the new parts look the same-? how will I know if I have them in correctly?
